Building the IPO Framework – Input

SQUID’s Approach to Collecting Input includes:

  • Cookie-Free tracking with cross-site User ID
  • Data streams through GA4
  • Data streams from Meta Analytics
  • Data streams from LinkedIn Analytics
  • Data streams from SEMRUsh
  • WordPress Plugin internal user tracking

With cookie-free tracking from SQUID, user touchpoints with your ads, posts, and website contribute to the probability algorithm used by our machine-learning attribution process. That user is given an anonymous code and attributed and assigned to a particular source, and then all future engagements from that user code are monitored. This enables ICN SQUID to be able to assess things like returning visits, purchases, referrals, and uninstalls, and start attributing lifetime values to users and loyalty scores to marketing partners.

By combining multiple data streams, SQUID is able to utilise its machine-learning capabilities to calculate the actual user journey with more accuracy than each software in isolation.

As a WordPress plugin, the SQUID API allows businesses to more easily track user activity both on the site (internal) and to and from the site (external). This data, categorised by unique user ID feeds into the AI-algorithm of SQUID’s processing system, which builds more reliable probability scores based on this user data over time- the more user data that comes in, the more comprehensive the report data becomes.

Our cookie-free approach is fully GDPR compliant. This is because it does not identify IP addresses or track individuals, but associates datapoints from the wide variety of data-streams it brings together.
