Release of SQUID 3.1: More Markov, Reporting, Email Tool, & Cyber Security Enhancements

Version 3.1 of ICN SQUID has been released today, with enhancements and improvements introduced across four key areas:

Markov Attribution Time Decay: version 3.0 saw the introduction of the Markov methodology, deploying this on a linear basis.  3.1 sees this go to the next level again with a ‘Time Decay’ element added to the algorithm, so putting a slightly greater relevance to events observed in the more recent past, rather than giving them all equal relevance.  The extent that this occurs varies from site to site and the machine learning applies this based on the data observed for each particular site.

Reporting: ICN-SQUID is bringing all new bespoke reporting capabilities to clients.  Upgrading reports, refining them to display the data that the client needs to see, is the best way to improve their understanding of their marketing without overly complicated data getting in the way.

Each business will have a different way of approaching their marketing information, and most want to focus on the big numbers- leads, sales, and traffic trends. With SQUID’s new AI-optimised reporting tools, clients can get the numbers they want quickly and easily. But in this straightforward presentation, the value of the underlying data is not lost, with breakdowns available for specific time periods, campaigns, and audience groups ready for the next big strategy meeting.

Email tool enhancements: ICN SQUID has long been able to collect tailored email data, and also deliver email data (either collected in house or imported data).  In version 3.1 improvements include campaign queuing and the capability to utilise APIs from marking leading software tools in this space like Postmark & Warmup.  These combine to massively enhance deliverability capabilities.

Meanwhile, as part of the ongoing integration of Cyber Security tools to SQUID, 3.1 sees the release of the ping testing of websites every 15 minutes and associated notification & reporting capability, and the automation of standard server monitoring and associated notification & reporting capability.  If anything goes down, you will know about it and be able to get it sorted quickly – and of course you have the peace of mind that no news is good news!
